Awesome Brunch Buffet @ Renoma Cafe Gallery

A good year must start with some awesome food. Thank to KC keep food porn me with his latest Sunday brunch buffet at Renoma Cafe Gallery, I want to go there immediately. The "immediately" doesn't refer to "now", as the brunch buffet only available on Sunday and public holiday. This isn't the first time visit to RCG, I was attending their happening grand opening two months ago. Besides their excellent food quality (tried before during their opening), I would like to double thumbs up for they having this super value brunch buffet at RM85++ only. Yupe, all you can eat at RM85++ from 11am till 3pm.! 


Let's have a look to their brunch buffet menu (Diff with ala carte menu):




I bet you might jaw drop if you are the foodie that know the prices of everything.
And all you can eat at RM85++, the best part definitely is their kitchen start prepare your food after you order. I think they adjust the portion compare with ala carte, which also means we can try on more options. Food below are served for me n hubby. Okay, now let us start the food tour!

Grilled Beef Kofta & Harrisa (must try)
Charcoal grilled grass-fed beef stirploin skewer, Arab spices, bulgur wheat, pine nuts, Harrisa hot chili stew, toasted bread.

Inner beef ball was juicy!

Lamb Chop Chimichurri (must try)
Charcoal grilled lamb chop served with Argentina Chimichurri sauce, fried potatoes & sauteed garlic French bean. Lamb meat perfectly dedicate grilled, taste was so tender if compare with other overcooked lamb chop I had before.

Sea Urchin & Crispy Tofu (must try)
Hokkaido bay sea urchin, deep fried soft bean curd, salmon roe, poached white asparagus in Hong Kong chili oil broth.

Goose Liver & Sweet Potato (must try)
Deep fried foie gras with sweet potatoes, heritage tomatoes, salads, compressed grapes, tropical fruit compote.

Salade Nicoise & Scottish Salmon (must try)
Smoke Scottish salmon, grilled artichoke, heirloom tomatoes, anchovies, salads, quail egg, red wine vinaigrette. 

Tiger Prawn Spicy Salad
Pan seared 150gm jumbo tiger prawn, mud crab meat, salads, baby potatoes, house-made spicy XO dressing.

Forest Mushroom Veloute (must try)
Veloute of black trumpet, oyster mushrooms, porcini mushroom, white truffle oil, creme porcini.
You may like it if you like taste of  purely mushrooms, you may not like it if you expect for some creamy mushrooms soup.

Maine Lobster Tom Kha Goong (must try)
Lemongrass & coconut broth with Maine lobster meat, Shimeji mushrooms, lime, crispy green chilies in spicy prawn oil.

Smoke Duck Tea (must try)
Consomme of smoked duck, pan seared foie gras, water chestnut, wood ear mushrooms and green peas.

Okay, this is my main dish! My choice of medium rare black Angus sirloin steak in summer truffle sauce! (must try)


His choice of Grain-fed 1824 hanger steak in port wine sauce. (must try)

Hokkaido Scallop & Avruga Caviar
Okay, I didn't see any caviar here, but there still a pan seared Hokkaido bay scallop, red chili linguine, shio-kombu Beurre Blanc and baby vegetable.

Foie Gras & Black Truffle Capellini (must try)
Pan seared foie gras, sauteed angel hair pasta, summer truffle, Muscovy duck rillette, smoked duck breast and forest mushrooms.

Miso Glazed Atlantic Cod (must try)
Glazed white miso cod fillet, Chinese superior broth and coriander.

Enough for main, now we heading to something sweet, is dessert time!

Vanilla Panna Cotta (must try)
Creamy pudding, crumbles and forest berries stew.

Line up of their house-made ice cream from front:
After six peppermint chocolate chips
Strawberry stripes
Cointreau Creme a l'orange (alcohol) (pretty mush taste alike with ubat batuk for me)
Rum & Raisin (alcohol)

Tiramisu (must try)

Orange Vanilla Creme Brulee
It will be better without orange flavor for me, I prefer original taste of vanilla bean egg custard.

Chocolate Raspberry Mousse

A very satisfying Valrhona Chocolate Fondant (must try)
Soft & melted centre chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, wild berries stew.


He had his latte that's not included in brunch buffet due to sleepiness.
 You can skip this if you prefer strong coffee.
